Senior Technical Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Gameplay Director and Content Director to establish the overarching vision and direction for gameplay and content designs.

• Develop technical design guidelines and principles applicable to the entire game.

• Work alongside other teams to devise technical solutions, pipelines, and tools that facilitate the implementation of gameplay and content design.

• Take ownership of technical design within a gameplay prototype, guiding it from ideation through to high-quality implementation.

• Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring technical designers.

• Analyze, propose, prototype, and create technical design features, systems, and tools for an unannounced AAA project.

• Produce one-page pitches, briefs for tools and pipelines, system outlines, and various communication materials.

• Implement systems utilizing proprietary tools by applying technical expertise.

• Collaborate across multiple disciplines and ensure that all partners are engaged and informed throughout the development process.

• Provide consistent and constructive feedback on features and the overall game.

• Remain updated on industry trends, game genres, design methodologies, and standards of audio-visual excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in the industry, successfully shipping titles in lead technical design positions.

• Demonstrated experience in leading technical design teams and managing technical pipelines.

• Strong ability to communicate design vision and ensure alignment within the team.

• Familiarity with a range of game development tools, including Unity, Unreal, or comparable proprietary tools.

• Exceptional self-motivation and initiative, coupled with a positive attitude when facing challenges.

• Willingness to relocate to Warsaw, Poland after completing immigration processes.
