Senior Technical Architect, Life Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients.

• Identify and spearhead internal strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the consulting practice.

• Contribute to the knowledge base and expertise of the community.

• Assist customers and colleagues in rationalizing and implementing emerging technologies that deliver business value.

• Educate on complex concepts and employ creative, prescriptive thinking.

• Recognize and proactively manage risk areas until fully resolved.

• Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions with clients and third-party partners.

• Review and adjust project/program direction, methodology, and key artifacts.

• Ensure programs remain on track and that solutions are both extendable and maintainable.

• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to design technology solutions.

• Contribute to the program vision and provide guidance on project strategies involving enabling technologies, including the Salesforce Platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture or consulting.

• At least 4 years of experience leading Salesforce Core Projects.

• Strong application design capabilities coupled with robust data, integration, and security architecture skills.

• Experience in the Life Sciences sector, specifically Pharma/Biopharma.

• Background in pharmaceutical commercial operations, field force engagement, HCP/HCO relationship management, or regulatory compliance.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Quick learner with the ability to embrace new concepts, business models, and technologies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in engaging with individuals in diverse roles.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes through technology and integration.

• Extensive experience in integration concepts, designs, and patterns.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

• Multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications or Salesforce Certified Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant are preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Agentforce for Life Sciences or similar Life Sciences CRM platforms, including HCP/HCO structures, Affiliations, Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Affairs, and compliant engagement workflows, is preferred.

• Experience in supporting or delivering implementations for major pharmaceutical companies, along with familiarity with the agentic enterprise model and AI agents in life sciences commercial and clinical operations, is preferred.
