Senior PHP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Sustain and improve legacy APIs developed with CakePHP 2

• Create and implement new microservices utilizing API Platform and Symfony

• Develop and uphold unit and Behat tests to guarantee code quality

• Collaborate with colleagues in an agile SCRUM setting

• Deploy and oversee applications using Docker and Google Cloud Platform

• Engage with PostgreSQL databases and Pub/Sub messaging systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer

• Extensive experience with PHP 8.3 and contemporary PHP frameworks, particularly Symfony and API Platform

• Experience in maintaining legacy codebases, with a preference for CakePHP 2

• Knowledge of Docker, GCP, and microservice architecture

• Expertise in PostgreSQL and Pub/Sub

• Experience in writing unit tests and Behat tests

• Solid understanding of agile/SCRUM development methodologies
