This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the primary technical authority leading customer engagements, making architecture decisions and ensuring measurable outcomes for complex, multi-workstream implementations.
• Collaborate with customer executives and senior technical leaders to establish platform strategy, develop long-term roadmaps, and align Snowflake capabilities with business goals.
• Convert vague business challenges into scalable technical solutions with defined delivery paths and risk-reduction strategies.
• Function as the technical escalation point to assist delivery teams by removing obstacles and resolving architectural challenges.
• Design and implement comprehensive AI/ML solutions on Snowflake.
• Establish standards for scalability, performance, security, and operability across customer environments.
• Define and advocate for MLOps practices that encompass deployment pipelines, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Promote the adoption of Snowflake's AI product suite, including Cortex, Streamlit in Snowflake, and Snowflake Intelligence.
• Oversee the replatforming of complex AI/ML workloads onto Snowflake.
• Coordinate efforts among customer engineering, data science, and platform teams.
• Connect Services Delivery, Go-to-Market, and Snowflake product teams.
• Relay customer feedback to guide product development.
• Mentor junior architects and consultants.
• Contribute to reusable architecture patterns, reference implementations, and delivery accelerators.
• BA/BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, data engineering, or a senior customer-facing technical position.
• Proven track record in leading architecture decisions for large-scale enterprise data and AI platforms.
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing Snowflake in production settings, covering data modeling, performance optimization, security design, and platform governance.
• Expert-level knowledge of the data analytics stack, including ETL, data pipelines, data platform architecture, BI tools, and semantic layers.
• Strong comprehension of the AI/ML lifecycle, including data preparation, feature engineering, model training, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Capable of producing and reviewing production-quality code.
• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale MLOps frameworks and managing model lifecycles.
• Ability to influence senior technical and executive stakeholders while navigating complex organizational structures.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI and LLM use cases in production is a plus.
• Experience in building or scaling a Center of Excellence or establishing enterprise architectural standards is advantageous.
• Background in a technology product company's services organization is beneficial.
• Advanced certifications in AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure are advantageous.
• Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Certifications are a plus.
• In-depth industry vertical expertise is a bonus.
• Experience as a technical lead on multi-team or multi-vendor delivery programs is an asset.
