Senior Tech Lead – .Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Guide the engineering team and shape the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of intricate back-end software solutions.

• Define and advance the technical direction, architecture, and design patterns for back-end services utilizing C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.

• Supervise the implementation, evolution, and standardization of SOAP and REST APIs, including aspects such as versioning, security, and best practices.

• Establish benchmarks for unit and integration testing, monitoring, and root-cause analysis of complex production challenges.

• Conduct code reviews and mentor both senior and junior engineers.

• Manage the integration of legacy and modern systems, ensuring high performance and decoupling.

• Optimize CI/CD workflows and automated pipelines.

• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and international teams to convert business requirements into scalable technical roadmaps.

• Work closely with a diverse team across Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience serving as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Principal Engineer in a production setting.

• Extensive hands-on experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.

• Strong understanding of ADO.NET and SQL Server.

• Proven expertise in database design, optimization, and performance tuning at scale.

• Significant experience in designing and maintaining SOAP and RESTful web services.

• Proficiency in XML serialization/deserialization.

• Mastery of software design patterns, clean architecture, and contemporary distributed system design.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

• Advanced/Fluent proficiency in English.

• Expertise in cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

• Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development.

• Experience leading teams within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Capability to lead through uncertainty, shifting priorities, and changing business requirements.
