Senior Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead, supervise, and validate the work of generative and agent-based AI agents to develop scalable solutions.

• Design architecture and define the purpose of the solutions.

• Delegate tactical execution to AI and review, correct, and approve its outcomes before production.

• Deliver complete functionalities of medium complexity with speed and quality.

• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate services, pipelines, and models.

• Direct AI agents to generate functions and services; review and refactor code.

• Write your own code in critical or ambiguous areas.

• Design strategies for smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing; verify coverage.

• Define batch pipeline architecture and audit schemas for consistency between sources and destinations.

• Oversee model training and hyperparameter tuning, assessing results against business problems.

• Accelerate incident triage and diagnosis by classifying, communicating, and resolving common runbooks.

• Execute and validate threat checklists and security patch recommendations.

• Define acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done.

• Design prompts, context, and reusable flows for copilots and generative AI.

• Evolve toward a Tech Lead role, guiding developers, making technical decisions, following up on deliveries, and contributing to team development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 10 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.

• At least 1 year of experience leading technical teams, supporting developers, and tracking deliveries.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and React.

• Deep experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch.

• Solid knowledge of pandas and scikit-learn.

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and machine learning services.

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering: data structures, design patterns, and architectural principles.

• Experience using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code in real development workflows.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing.

• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Experience in machine learning or applied AI projects (MCP, LLMs, and RAG).

• Technical judgment for evaluating AI outputs.

• Autonomy in medium complexity tasks and orchestration of AI tools.

• Interest in DevSecOps and the use of AI for productivity.

• Advanced written and spoken English skills.

• Proven technical leadership and mentoring abilities.

• Ability to collaborate with data science and product teams.

• Focus on high-quality solutions with rigorous testing.
