Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Identify top talent and leaders through AI-generated candidate lists in Juicebox.

• Engage candidates via LinkedIn and email outreach.

• Manage the entire interview process, from scheduling initial screenings to conducting second rounds and facilitating final interviews.

• Promote the company's vision to candidates and maintain engagement post-interview.

• Collaborate with Hiring Managers to develop Role Scopes and ensure roles are activated within 3 days of request.

• Take responsibility for reference checks, offers, compensation benchmarking, offer presentations, signing, and the new-hire transition process.

• Maintain a warm talent pool, including unsolicited applicants.

• Organize the Ashby ATS and ClickUp hiring space for 5–10 open roles.

• Suggest strategies to expedite the hiring process.

• Provide insights on hiring forecasts to the COO.

• Independently manage onboarding for each role.

• Assist in the recruitment of over 16 individuals in the next 6 months.

• Report directly to the COO.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in outbound recruiting as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist.

• Proven experience in hiring 10 or more candidates simultaneously.

• Expertise in headhunting for C-suite, VP, Head of, lead, and managerial positions.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively sell top candidates on a company's vision and secure their acceptance.

• Experience conducting interviews for senior-level roles.

• High emotional intelligence to discern what candidates may not explicitly communicate.

• Daily utilization of AI tools to enhance efficiency, including Claude Code, APIs, and MCPs.

• Experience managing a clean pipeline across 5–10 open roles concurrently.

• Full-time availability with a readiness to discontinue other competing commitments, including freelance work, consulting, or side businesses.

• Preferred: experience at a talent acquisition firm or having full ownership of hiring processes within a company.

• Preferred: background in building hiring systems, implementing ATS, refining processes, or automating aspects of recruitment.

• Preferred: familiarity with Ashby, ClickUp, or Juicebox.

• Must be available to work from 9 AM to 6 PM ET and respond to candidates after hours.

• Not suitable for candidates looking for South African business hours.
