This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design and execute innovative recruitment strategies to draw in qualified professionals and streamline the onboarding process.
• Guide and mentor junior recruiters, offering support and assessing the performance of third-party agencies.
• Collaborate within a team-focused environment, sharing best practices and promoting ongoing enhancement.
• Provide training to recruiters on Acosta’s strategic goals, recruitment processes, and compliance standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert by attending regional client business meetings and representing Talent Acquisition across the organization.
• Oversee and assist with special projects that address vital business needs.
• Work closely with hiring managers to grasp staffing requirements, job descriptions, and candidate profiles.
• Ensure the creation of accurate and engaging job postings to attract top talent.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams to establish effective pipelines through job boards, referrals, online searches, and industry-specific resources.
• Represent Acosta at networking events, career fairs, and online training sessions to enhance the employer brand.
• Educate stakeholders regarding recruitment timelines, process enhancements, and hiring strategies.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools to identify and advance high-caliber candidates.
• Conduct behavioral-based phone screenings to evaluate candidate compatibility, skills, and motivation.
• Advise hiring managers on interview strategies and selection decisions.
• Extend job offers and manage negotiation, closing, and administrative components of the hiring process.
• Achieve performance metrics and recruitment objectives established by the Talent Acquisition leadership.
• Work in partnership with HR colleagues and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in both high-volume exempt and non-exempt settings.
• Proven success in sourcing hard-to-find candidates and developing strong talent pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of employment laws (EEO, ADEA, etc.).
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced internet sourcing techniques.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to apply technical terminology and concepts in everyday tasks.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work.
• Capability to train recruiters on best practices and recruitment methodologies.
• Skilled in identifying top industry talent and utilizing referrals effectively.
• Ability to cultivate and sustain proactive partnerships with business leaders.
