Senior T24 Tester – Trade Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive functional testing of Trade Finance products and processes, spanning customer/product onboarding and setup to transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Assess Letters of Credit, LC Drawings, Guarantees, Documentary Collections/Bills, Trade Loans, and Murabaha.

• Engage in hands-on testing of Temenos T24 Trade Finance modules, encompassing LC, Drawings, DC/Bills, and Loans & Deposits.

• Verify contract lifecycle activities, including creation, authorization, amendments, inquiries, overrides, settlements, and closures.

• Evaluate T24 Delivery functionality and confirm SWIFT message generation and processing.

• Validate integrations between web/mobile portals, BPM/Workflow engines such as Newgen, and Temenos T24.

• Confirm T24 back-office processing aspects, including limits, collateral, charges, commissions, accounting entries, posting restrictions, and COB/EOD processing.

• Execute transaction reconciliation and verify end-of-day balances, transaction histories, accounting entries, and statement generation.

• Develop and oversee synthetic test data that reflects real-world financial and production scenarios.

• Validate SWIFT messages and ensure compliance with relevant Trade Finance standards and ICC guidelines, such as UCP 600 and URDG 758.

• Conduct API testing using Postman or SoapUI.

• Validate compliance screening workflows, RBAC, access controls, and security scenarios.

• Identify, document, track, and manage defects with tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, T24 functional teams, and business stakeholders to address issues.

• Plan and implement multiple testing streams while upholding quality, timelines, and testing documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software testing, ideally within banking or financial services.

• Profound Trade Finance knowledge with practical experience in Letters of Credit, LC Drawings, Bank Guarantees, Documentary Collections/Bills, Trade Loans, and Murabaha.

• Significant hands-on experience with Temenos T24 Trade Finance modules.

• Familiarity with T24 core concepts, including limits, collateral, charges, commissions, accounting, posting restrictions, COB/EOD, and reconciliation.

• Capability to read and interpret T24 inquiries to validate back-office outcomes.

• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards and ICC guidelines, especially UCP 600 and URDG 758.

• Experience in testing portal-to-BPM/Workflow-to-T24 integrations, preferably with Newgen.

• Practical API testing experience with Postman or SoapUI.

• Proficient with JIRA, ALM, or comparable test management tools.

• Understanding of RBAC, security testing, and compliance screening workflows.

• Strong analytical, communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

• Preferred: experience in Trade Finance transformation, migration, or integration projects.

• Preferred: experience with T24/Temenos Transact implementations or upgrades.

• Preferred: banking experience in UAE/GCC markets.

• Preferred: immediate availability or the ability to join within a short notice period.
