Senior Systems Software Engineer – Containers, Kubernetes, Confidential Computing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Investigate creative methods to simplify the development, deployment, and monitoring of GPU-accelerated applications.

• Facilitate the use of GPUs as primary resources in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

• Contribute to Cloud Native technologies that integrate NVIDIA accelerators within the Kubernetes ecosystem.

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams across NVIDIA to ensure seamless software integration throughout the entire stack.

• Manage multiple tasks across various projects to adapt to changing priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 8 years of pertinent work experience.

• Advanced proficiency in a systems programming language (Go, Rust) and a solid grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms.

• Strong knowledge of Container Orchestration Systems (Kubernetes) and Container Technologies.

• In-depth understanding and experience with the system internals of Unix/Unix-like kernels, including Linux.

• Substantial background in Cloud Computing and the design and development of Distributed Software.

• Insight into performance, security, and reliability aspects within complex distributed systems.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Rust and Go programming languages.

• Practical experience working with Containers and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in Kata Containers and Container sandboxing technologies.

• Familiar with Attestation concepts, Key Broker Service, and similar technologies.

• Knowledgeable in virtualization technologies, including SR-IOV and vGPU.
