Senior Systems Engineer – Solana

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage validator nodes to maintain the stability, security, and efficiency of Solana's infrastructure and operations.

• Ensure the uninterrupted functioning of Solana systems and carry out updates as necessary.

• Oversee system monitoring and optimize performance.

• Actively explore new methods for enhancing and expediting setup within the Solana ecosystem.

• Automate node deployment and operations using Ansible and Terraform.

• Work collaboratively with traders to enhance infrastructure performance.

• Engage in communication with partners.

• Take part in the on-call duty rotation.

• Continuously learn, develop, and expand responsibilities beyond the current position.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of computer systems and networks.

• Enthusiasm for blockchain technology and decentralization.

• Strong skills in Linux and system engineering.

• Experience with Solana validators is highly regarded.

• Proficient in English.

• German language skills are an advantage.

• Proven capability to design and critically evaluate system architecture.

• Educational background in Computer Science/Distributed Systems or equivalent professional experience.

• Willingness to occasionally travel to meet the team in person and attend conferences.
