Data & Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume technical responsibility for NetSuite and oversee the entire IT-related order process.

• Manage, control, and optimize NetSuite operations internally.

• Create and finalize a clean, organized, and stable long-term data infrastructure in Google BigQuery.

• Facilitate reliable data aggregation and analysis.

• Detect manual subprocesses throughout the value chain and implement automation.

• Establish an AI-first strategy within the ERP and IT framework.

• Ensure IT security and resilience throughout the order process.

• Safeguard interfaces and data flows against disruptions.

• Promote internal system ownership and transition towards an AI-driven technological landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3–5 years of substantial professional experience in Data Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Development.

• Preferably, experience in an e-commerce, scale-up, or technology setting.

• An AI-first mindset along with a keen interest in AI infrastructure.

• Strong resilience, a keen focus on execution, a high level of ownership, and a strong willingness to learn.

• Solid experience in administering or developing ERP systems, ideally Oracle NetSuite or a similar platform.

• Good understanding of cloud data warehousing, preferably Google BigQuery.

• Practical software development/coding experience, such as with GitHub, Vercel, Postgres, or comparable stacks.

• Familiarity with e-commerce, Shopify, and logistics order processes is advantageous.

• Proficiency in written and spoken German and English.
