Senior Systems Engineer, Identity and Access

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee the complete lifecycle of Identity and Access Management platforms.

• Administer Okta, directory services, Multi-Factor Authentication, and advanced password management solutions.

• Manage tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft O365, Slack, and Jira/Confluence.

• Oversee Mac and Windows devices utilizing Jamf and MS Intune.

• Develop automated workflows for provisioning, deprovisioning, and application access.

• Establish Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), conduct entitlement reviews, and execute access certification processes.

• Lead the technical onboarding process for new SaaS applications to enable Single Sign-On (SSO).

• Collaborate with the Security team to integrate security best practices into the IT infrastructure.

• Author technical operating procedures, engineering roadmaps, and compliance policies.

• Provide high-level technical leadership and escalation support for intricate IT operations.

• Drive automation initiatives to minimize operational toil and foster business growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM systems engineering combined with extensive IT infrastructure management.

• Profound, hands-on expertise in Okta configuration, policy creation, and application integration.

• Solid understanding of SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, IGA, RBAC, and LDAP.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience with Okta Workflows.

• Demonstrated experience in managing Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Jamf (macOS), and Intune (Windows).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical engineering experience.

• A compliance-focused mindset in a highly regulated industry.
