Senior Systems Engineer, C++, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop fundamental algorithms related to machine learning, computer vision, and inverse procedural modeling using C++.

• Integrate research findings in machine learning, computer vision, and computer graphics into practical applications.

• Work closely with leadership to grasp product vision and understand customer needs.

• Utilize Git for effective source code management.

• Implement and evaluate code on extensive geospatial datasets.

• Communicate with remote machines through a Unix shell.

• Create 3D content for end-users.

• Construct software that drives machine learning, computer vision, and 3D modeling applications.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable discipline.

• Over 3 years of pertinent industry experience in a dynamic, rapidly growing tech setting.

• A collaborative and team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to acquire new methods, tools, practices, and skills.

• Excellent communication skills to convey intricate technical ideas to non-technical audiences.

• Experience in designing and developing high-performance, efficient systems utilizing C++.

• A strong emphasis on optimizing code for performance, scalability, and resource management.

• Proficiency in modern C++.

• A solid mathematical foundation in areas such as linear algebra, probability, and geometry.

• Familiarity with Git, Mercurial, or alternative version control systems.

• Proficient in a Unix shell environment (e.g., bash).

• Background in game technology, particularly with Unreal Engine, C++, computational geometry, and computer graphics.

• Experience with CMake for project management.

• Familiarity with Linux and macOS development and production environments.
