Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary contact and a multidisciplinary technical leader throughout the feature development process.

• Establish comprehensive system architectures and technical specifications (HLDs).

• Transform RF cyber-research insights into practical software, FPGA, and algorithm design requirements.

• Lead cross-functional development teams during the feature bring-up and integration phases.

• Conduct lab-based feature bring-up, integration across functions, and troubleshooting.

• Oversee lab and field testing, root-cause analysis, and intricate fault diagnosis.

• Stay informed on emerging drone protocol updates to ensure that solutions remain innovative.

• Develop internal AI tools and scripts to enhance system analysis workflows.

• Evaluate customer concerns and suggest solutions or system enhancements.

• Connect RF cyber-research, software deployment, and system testing and evaluation of counter-UAS technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering.

• Proven experience in bridging RF cyber-research with software deployment and system testing, particularly for counter-UAS technologies.

• Capability to define comprehensive system architectures and create technical specifications (HLDs).

• Proficient in converting RF cyber-research findings into software, FPGA, and algorithm design requirements.

• Skilled in guiding cross-functional development teams through feature bring-up and integration.

• Experience in lab-based feature bring-up, cross-functional integration, and debugging.

• Demonstrated expertise in leading lab and field testing, root-cause analysis, and complex fault diagnosis.

• Ability to keep track of evolving drone protocol updates.

• Competence in developing internal AI tools and scripts.

• Proficient in analyzing customer issues and recommending solutions or system modifications.
