Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Offer strategic and technical direction to the DLA J62FG.

• Collaborate with government leadership, AMPS staff, cross-functional teams, and the project manager to define scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, and timelines.

• Provide guidance and support on IT policy, governance, and compliance to government IT leaders.

• Perform independent evaluations and deliver actionable recommendations.

• Suggest strategies for governance and technological advancements.

• Aid in the coordination, analysis, and execution of technical strategies and plans.

• Identify risks and program implications arising from changes in IT policies and governance.

• Offer advice on strategies for risk mitigation.

• Collect, analyze, and synthesize data and information into reports and presentations.

• Oversee multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring timely follow-up on commitments.

• Conduct research and propose solutions based on data analysis, alert assessments, and government and program concepts.

• Tailor IT governance, policy, and compliance to unconventional operating environments.

• Facilitate coordination and collaboration across organizational boundaries.

• Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.

• This is an experienced-level position.

• Capability to provide strategic and technical direction to DLA J62FG.

• Proficient in coordinating with government leadership, AMPS personnel, cross-functional teams, and project managers.

• Strong knowledge of IT policy, governance, and compliance.

• Competence in conducting independent evaluations and formulating recommendations.

• Ability to assess technical strategies, plans, risks, and program impacts.

• Skills in gathering, analyzing, and compiling data into reports and presentations.

• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
