Senior Systems Engineer – Active Directory, Entra ID

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in an international nearshore project, facilitating corporate transformation efforts and identity integration within Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments.

• Administer, sustain, and enhance the Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments.

• Assist with identity integration projects associated with corporate transformations, mergers, and acquisitions.

• Strategize and execute Active Directory domain consolidations.

• Conduct directory object migrations.

• Support tenant integrations and migrations within Microsoft Entra ID.

• Design, implement, and oversee hybrid identity solutions.

• Configure and manage identity synchronization services.

• Work with Entra Connect, Cloud Sync, and related technologies.

• Set up and manage Conditional Access policies.

• Implement and maintain Multi-Factor Authentication systems.

• Support Single Sign-On and Identity Governance solutions.

• Perform health assessments of Active Directory environments.

• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, cloud, and compliance teams on architecture evaluations, migration planning, troubleshooting, and environment stabilization.

• Ensure adherence to technical, operational, and governance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2), capable of effective communication in an international setting.

• Practical experience in administering and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory environments.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, previously known as Azure Active Directory.

• Comprehensive understanding of Active Directory Domain Services.

• Experience with hybrid identity architectures.

• Familiarity with identity synchronization and integration between on-premises and cloud environments.

• Experience with Entra Connect, Azure AD Connect, Cloud Sync, or comparable technologies.

• Experience with Active Directory domain migrations or consolidations.

• Experience with tenant integrations or migrations in Microsoft Entra ID.

• Knowledge of Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication systems.

• Proficient in using PowerShell for administration and automation tasks.

• Ability to investigate and resolve complex identity, authentication, and synchronization challenges.

• Understanding of DNS, Group Policy, PKI, and Kerberos within Active Directory environments.

• Experience in conducting health assessments and analyzing Active Directory environments.
