This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Configure software or develop/modify software code to fulfill business needs.
• Create and implement test plans for software changes and assist with production deployment.
• Produce software documentation for internal systems management and user manuals.
• Develop and deliver user training sessions.
• Identify requirements in collaboration with customers and team members across various teams.
• Design business application systems that address intricate corporate business requirements.
• Estimate efforts for system configuration and development.
• Lead functional areas on large projects and/or manage small to medium-sized projects.
• Coordinate resources, milestone timelines, and related communications.
• Deliver designated work areas or projects.
• Lead or support the resolution of software application performance and usage issues.
• Assist with disaster recovery initiatives and adhere to change management standards and procedures.
• Assess make-versus-buy system options and integrate new technologies.
• Cultivate technical and business expertise and share knowledge throughout the functional area.
• Provide 24-hour on-call support, including evenings and weekends.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent from another country) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a Business discipline, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8 or more years of experience with SAP GTS and ECC or S/4HANA.
• Proficient in two or more SAP GTS functions: Compliance Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference Management, and Product Classification.
• Proven leadership experience in the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, functional configuration, testing, and support.
• Experience with 1–2 full SAP lifecycle implementations or comparable project experience.
• Skilled in leading technical and process-driven business requirement workshops.
• Experience in creating business process documentation, process mapping, and functional specification documents.
• Proficient in SAP ABAP development and debugging.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate as part of a team, and lead medium-sized teams, including managing workloads and delegating tasks.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to business stakeholders and IT leadership.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must reside in the Eastern Time Zone.
• Preferred experience in the Apparel and Footwear Industry.
• Preferred experience working directly with vendors and negotiating expected project deliverables.
