Business Systems Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and provide support for Oracle Integration Cloud integrations.

• Create inbound, outbound, real-time, scheduled, batch, event-driven, and API-based integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and third-party/external applications.

• Leverage Oracle Fusion REST APIs, SOAP services, PVOs, FBDI, UCM, ESS Jobs, OIC adapters, and event-driven architectures.

• Construct reusable, scalable integration frameworks adhering to Oracle best practices and enterprise integration patterns, ensuring API governance.

• Facilitate data conversions using FBDI and document specifications for conversions, integrations, modifications, and reports.

• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, error handling, and autorecovery frameworks; enhance performance, scalability, and security.

• Develop technical extensions for Oracle Fusion utilizing Oracle PaaS services, OCI, Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS), and Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP).

• Manage and provide support for various Oracle Cloud environments.

• Design and maintain Fusion reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, BICC, Oracle Fusion Analytics, and SQL.

• Create BIP data models with PVOs and SQL; generate XML templates; construct dashboards, KPIs, operational reports, and oversee scheduling/distribution.

• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL against PVOs/VOs; ensure data accuracy and enhance report/query performance.

• Develop secure integrations and APIs utilizing OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API Gateway.

• Collaborate with Information Security and IT Compliance teams regarding data privacy and security in cloud environments.

• Provide L1/L2/L3 support; diagnose failures and coordinate resolutions with Oracle Support.

• Assist in Oracle quarterly updates by evaluating impacts, testing changes, and applying enhancements.

• Create unit test scripts and coordinate SIT/UAT with users and business analysts.

• Support production deployments, hypercare, and ongoing production assistance.

• Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, estimate effort, and mentor junior developers.

• Work alongside DevOps teams on Git-based source control and CI/CD processes.

• Generate technical design, deployment guides, and operational documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in supporting Oracle Fusion integrations/reports.

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

• At least 5 years of Oracle ERP/Fusion technical development experience is preferred.

• Proven experience in delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation or upgrade projects across multiple enterprise initiatives.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance-tuning abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across functional boundaries.

• Familiarity with SDLC, requirement gathering, documentation, test scripts, and data management.

• Knowledge of Fusion Cloud modules.

• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Certification is preferred.

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification is preferred; additional Fusion certifications are advantageous.

• Nice-to-have skills include: VB Studio, OAC, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Oracle Process Automation, Integration Insight, Python, event-driven/microservices, and Oracle SOA Suite.
