Senior Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and implement technical solutions that are in line with business needs.

• Conduct technical evaluations.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to quality and delivery benchmarks.

• Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Maintain transparent communication regarding requirements and the status of projects.

• Contribute to the optimization of systems and processes through architectural enhancements and re-engineering efforts.

• Operate within an Agile framework.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during implementation and operational phases.

• Provide post-implementation support to reduce business disruption.

• Keep thorough technical documentation.

• Share knowledge and best practices with team members.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance solution delivery continuously.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience.

• Strong communication skills.

• Experience in gathering and documenting requirements (both functional and non-functional).

• Proficiency in process modeling.

• Skills in data modeling.

• Ability to write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and Python (for querying and validation).

• Documentation for data mapping and transformation.

• Data analysis experience using Excel, SQL tools, or BI platforms.

• Capability to read and interpret system architecture diagrams and technical specifications.

• Understanding of microservices and concepts related to distributed systems.

• Familiarity with ETL processes.

• Basic knowledge of GitHub or other version control systems.

• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira).

• Expertise in Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum) for effective delivery management.

• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.

• Knowledge of secure data handling practices, particularly concerning sensitive financial data and personally identifiable information (PII).

• Experience in the insurance or financial sectors is highly preferred.

• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification is highly preferred.
