Senior Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee ticket management and deliver remote assistance

• Provide support for both hardware and software

• Manage networking and video conferencing systems

• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and exiting employees

• Procure and dispatch equipment to remote employees throughout the EU

• Offer general technical support

• Implement large-scale technical projects and company-wide technology initiatives

• Administer, enhance, and ensure the performance and reliability of cloud infrastructure across Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian

• Manage and develop hybrid systems while integrating them with cloud workloads

• Administer and optimize SaaS and MDM tools for a globally distributed workforce

• Lead incident response for critical systems, conduct root cause analysis, and perform post-incident reviews

• Develop and maintain automation to minimize manual tasks and enhance system observability

• Establish and enforce security and access control policies

• Collaborate with Security teams to meet compliance standards

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and operational runbooks

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering roles

• Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments

• Experience managing enterprise SaaS platforms and MDM solutions, such as JumpCloud and Okta

• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, identity management, and access control

• Capability to operate independently and make informed technical decisions under pressure

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical complexities to non-technical stakeholders

• Applicants may need to undergo background and identity verification checks, including employment, education, and criminal record checks

• Nice to have: Experience within a web3, fintech, or rapidly growing tech environment

• Nice to have: Familiarity with security frameworks or compliance programs such as SOC2 and ISO 27001

• Nice to have: Experience supporting globally distributed, fully remote teams

• Nice to have: Experience with at least two major cloud providers, such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
