IT Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the administration of endpoints, encompassing device enrollment, configuration, and the enforcement of security policies.

• Manage SaaS platforms, including user provisioning, account management, and authentication services.

• Develop and maintain onboarding and offboarding workflows, as well as access control systems utilizing RBAC, SSO, and MFA.

• Create automation scripts and enhance repetitive IT processes through improvements in scripting and tooling.

• Ensure the upkeep of accurate technical documentation, system records, and change management logs.

• Assist in infrastructure provisioning and configuration, actively participating in Infrastructure as Code initiatives.

• Contribute to compliance efforts and support the maintenance of security controls in accordance with audit standards.

• Monitor and report on IT performance metrics, security indicators, and compliance statuses.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service reliability.

• Provide operational support for distributed systems, SaaS applications, and endpoint environments across global teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or a comparable technical position.

• Proficient in managing endpoint tools such as Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager.

• Strong knowledge of SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, and Cloudflare.

• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management principles such as RBAC, SSO, and MFA.

• Experience with scripting and automation using languages like Bash, Python, or similar.

• Knowledge of Git-based version control and structured change management methodologies.

• Exposure to security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or NIST guidelines.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Capability to work independently and support a globally distributed team in a fast-paced setting.
