Senior System Engineer, Linux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Execute infrastructure transformations driven by project objectives.

• Oversee Linux systems management.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and experience in using, configuring, and maintaining Automation Platforms, preferably AAP/AWX.

• Proficient in the configuration and management of Linux distributions such as RHEL, OL, and Ubuntu.

• Experience with both manual and automated deployment and patching techniques for Linux distributions.

• Competence in shell scripting and at least one additional programming language, ideally Python.

• Utilize Ansible for managing systems and processes on a large scale.

• Capable of reverse engineering systems and platforms.

• Familiarity with virtualization concepts.

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.

• Experience with the Prometheus/Grafana/Loki observability stack.

• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.

• Experience in project management.

• Knowledge of IPAM, IAM, fundamental networking, system firewalls, and storage solutions.

• OpenStack knowledge is an advantage.
