Financial Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provide support, maintenance, and optimization for accounting and financial systems.

• Oversee the administration and support of financial systems, ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of finance applications.

• Manage cross-departmental financial systems projects in collaboration with IT, Merchant, Planning, and Inventory Management teams.

• Analyze intricate financial and operational data to identify trends and facilitate self-service reporting.

• Lead initiatives for process improvement that enhance efficiency and minimize manual efforts.

• Implement new financial applications, system enhancements, and business solutions.

• Maintain system configurations, master data, integrations, and controls.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, escalations, and defects reported by users.

• Assist with special projects, new business endeavors, and strategic technology initiatives alongside the Financial Systems Manager.

• Create and deliver training, documentation, and knowledge resources for end-users.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as system uptime, issue-resolution time, project milestones, user adoption, process efficiency, data accuracy, and training completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of pertinent experience.

• Highly skilled in MS Excel, Office, and Google Suite applications.

• Strong technical and financial expertise.

• Excellent analytical, intuitive, and interpersonal abilities.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to act as a strategic liaison between IT and business-oriented departments.

• Proven track record in evaluating processes and designing/executing process enhancements.

• Experience with large platform ERP systems is mandatory, with a strong preference for Workday Financials.

• Familiarity with Oracle EPM for financial planning and reporting is required.

• Hands-on experience in building dashboards and visualizing complex data using Tableau and Power BI.

• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and interpreting data to narrate a story.
