Senior System Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a vital link between intricate regulatory business requirements, including the TAI Reinsurance for Annuity System, and effective, scalable technical solutions.

• Serve as the main conduit among business units, IT departments, and external product vendors.

• Convert complex financial business processes and integration requirements into clear, actionable functional and non-functional specifications.

• Offer expert design recommendations and take ownership of system blueprints for various projects and enhancements.

• Oversee the maintenance of the enterprise integration catalog.

• Assist in thorough testing initiatives.

• Generate comprehensive application and system documentation across the organization.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders and application support teams to document solutions that promote institutional growth and system stability.

• Propel the modernization and advancement of core Annuity, Life Reinsurance, and Portfolio Account Management (PAM) solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 5–10 years of professional IT experience with a strong emphasis on complex enterprise systems.

• Demonstrated expertise in technical analysis and integration projects, preferably within the Financial Services sector (Reinsurance/Life Insurance).

• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, advanced SQL querying, database programming, and ETL processes; familiarity with SSIS/SSRS is preferred.

• Experience in utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, with strong skills in defining user stories.

• Background in cloud environments; AWS experience is desired, and Azure experience is a plus.

• Over 3 years of experience working with modern web development frameworks, particularly the .NET Framework (preferred).

• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), EAI, and/or large-scale integration platforms like Informatica is preferred.

• Understanding of web-application server configuration (IIS, JBoss) and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

• Ability to build consensus and manage conflicting needs among technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clarify complex technical concepts for non-technical executive audiences.

• A proactive and resourceful approach, with the ability to advance projects independently without constant supervision.

• Competence in analyzing ambiguous, large-scale business and technical challenges and devising innovative, practical solutions.

• Strong attention to detail when converting requirements into structured data models and functional specifications.

• Results-driven mindset with the ability to juggle multiple high-priority tasks.

• Strong self-starter attitude and the capability to anticipate obstacles while delivering high-quality solutions under pressure.
