Credit Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into credit and financial data for both prospective and existing commercial clients.

• Evaluate business and personal financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and repayment sources.

• Create credit approval packages, spreadsheets, summaries, and written analyses for loan decision-makers.

• Provide support for new, renewed, and existing loan applications that vary from simple to moderately complex.

• Ensure that all tasks adhere to internal policies, procedures, security standards, and relevant regulations.

• Assist the bank in making prudent and responsible lending choices.

• Balance growth with risk through careful, compliant, and well-supported credit decisions.

• Collaborate with seasoned banking professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related discipline (Required).

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• A minimum of two years of relevant credit or financial analysis experience (Required).

• Experience with analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow.

• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.

• Excellent analytical thinking and sound judgment skills.

• Ability to accurately manage a high volume of work while adjusting to changing priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.

• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to commercial lending.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and other relevant systems.

• Must reside in one of the Washington state locations specified for this role.
