EMR Analyst I – Epic Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate access to Epic tools for regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and revenue generation.

• Configure, integrate, and deploy informatics solutions tailored for revenue cycle operations.

• Execute production support, system updates, and maintenance under supervision and guidance.

• Assist in the administration of Epic Billing tools and offer technical support.

• Assume responsibility for assigned tasks and report issues and obstacles to the supervisor.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage in design and leadership meetings.

• Consult with end users about clinical applications, training programs, and associated materials.

• Act as a resource for application projects and improvements.

• Scope and estimate work efforts for minor projects while communicating progress.

• Provide technical support, troubleshoot problems, escalate unresolved issues, and assist with user training.

• Develop and organize educational and training materials.

• Participate in an on-call support rotation.

• Engage with staff across the Medical Center and ensure timely follow-up with customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• No prior experience required.

• Previous experience in the revenue cycle environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with Epic Information Systems, particularly in implementation and maintenance, is preferred.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to revenue cycle operations is preferred.

• Ability to analyze trends in revenue cycle data is preferred.

• Experience working with revenue cycle operations leadership is preferred.

• Capability to effectively navigate a complex healthcare environment is preferred.
