This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Evaluate business needs and translate them into comprehensive, detailed technical specifications.
• Document domain entities, logical data models, use cases, web forms, API specifications, permissions, logs, business rules, edge cases, and other system behaviors.
• Define interactions between frontend and backend, API contracts, validations, and data flows.
• Analyze current payment provider and banking integrations.
• Investigate Level 3 issues and change requests, and outline the necessary system modifications to resolve them.
• Assist in addressing complex Back Office challenges, focusing on enhancing usability and user workflows.
• Design analytic and reporting solutions, including those capable of handling large volumes of transactional data in ClickHouse.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and UI/UX Designer to create mockups that meet user needs and respect technical constraints.
• Contribute to architecture and solution design alongside the architect, engineers, and QA teams.
• Suggest viable solutions, articulate trade-offs, and participate in API and system design decisions.
• Engage in peer reviews to enhance the quality, consistency, and accuracy of specifications.
• Maintain and enhance documentation, specification templates, and team standards.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Analyst.
• Experience in payment systems, payment gateways, fintech, or banking is preferred.
• Proven experience in designing APIs, logical data models, and integrations using various patterns and microservice architectures.
• Strong skills in BPMN and UML modeling, including Sequence, State Machine, Use Case, and Class diagrams.
• Proficiency in using Postman, browser Developer Tools, and JSON editors.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Capability to clearly articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, adapt to shifting priorities, and identify risks promptly.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher for documentation purposes.
• Fluent Russian for effective team communication.
• Familiarity with payment security, compliance, and regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, KYC, AML, and GDPR is advantageous.
• Understanding of end-to-end payment processes, including authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks, 3DS, withdrawals, and reconciliation is a plus.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is a benefit.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is also a plus.
