Senior Survey Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop online questionnaires based on information from clients and project managers, which includes creating surveys, implementing filters and quotas, managing languages, exporting data, and generating reports.

• Establish survey programming strategies, timelines, necessary resources, and identify potential challenges.

• Rigorously test surveys and deliver high-quality links to clients in collaboration with project managers.

• Troubleshoot and resolve coding issues.

• Collaborate with project managers and clients to enhance online survey programming for respondents.

• Provide support for projects across various time zones by working the night shift, currently from 8am to 5pm UTC.

• Report to the Survey Programming Manager while assisting the Client Service team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in the market research sector, survey programming, and/or web development.

• A university degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (can be substituted for experience).

• Proficient in JavaScript, XML, and at least one programming language relevant to dynamic web development.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal; proficiency in an additional language is a plus.

• Strong capability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality or meeting deadlines.

• Keen attention to detail, with a strong commitment to delivering accurate and "error-free" programmed surveys.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to independently identify root causes and devise effective solutions.

• Quick learner, able to rapidly understand and implement new technologies, platforms, methodologies, and project specifications.

• Open to innovative solutions and new working methods, maintaining a mindset focused on continuous improvement and automation.

• Ability to utilize AI tools effectively and responsibly to enhance productivity, troubleshooting, scripting, quality control, and automation, while ensuring output validation and adherence to company data-security protocols.

• A genuine team player who communicates effectively with stakeholders and is eager to share knowledge and best practices with colleagues.

• Possess senior-level ownership and independence, including the foresight to anticipate potential issues, recommend solutions, and enhance existing scripting processes rather than merely executing assigned tasks.

• Willingness and ability to work flexible shifts as needed.

• Familiarity with SQL platforms such as Confirmit, Decipher, or Alchemer is a plus.

• Experience with SPSS is advantageous.
