MDM IT Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, manage, and maintain solutions for the Master Data Management (MDM) platform.

• Configure and build components of the MDM application, including workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and integrations.

• Implement regular data import, export, file-based, and API integration modifications.

• Convert business and technical specifications into application configurations and code.

• Diagnose application incidents and defects, conduct root-cause analysis, execute corrections, and escalate complex issues when necessary.

• Create and run unit, integration, and regression test cases, documenting the outcomes.

• Prepare and sustain technical documentation for configurations, code, integrations, deployments, support processes, and defect resolutions.

• Assist with scheduled releases and application deployments through lifecycle management, source control, change management, and rollback procedures.

• Oversee application processes and jobs, respond to alerts and support requests, ensuring reliable platform operations.

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, data specialists, infrastructure teams, and vendors.

• Adhere to enterprise application design, coding, security, data governance, and documentation standards.

• Engage in estimation, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Communicate updates, obstacles, and risks effectively.

• Contribute to incremental enhancements in application quality, supportability, performance, and user experience.

• Participate in application training sessions and maintain documentation for business continuity and disaster recovery tests.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in application development, configuration, or integration within an agile setting.

• Proficient in JavaScript, XML, JSON, REST APIs, regular expressions, and source control concepts.

• Capability to implement approved technical specifications within an MDM application.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, incident management, security, and change control practices.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Preferred experience with Stibo STEP architecture, data models, workflows, Web UI, business rules, and integrations.

• Preferred experience with SAP and enterprise integration.

• Strong technical problem-solving and debugging abilities.

• Ability to deliver clearly defined work with regular guidance and increasing autonomy.

• Focus on code quality, testing, security, documentation, and operational reliability.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, support teams, data professionals, and vendors.

• Clear technical communication skills and a willingness to seek review when decisions exceed assigned authority.

• Ability to manage priorities and fulfill commitments in a fast-paced environment.
