
Senior Supplier Performance Engineer – I&C

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist in the fabrication of electro-mechanical components at supplier locations.
• Conduct both on-site and remote oversight of suppliers to ensure that technical and quality standards are met.
• Create and execute Supplier Oversight Plans for essential document submissions and manufacturing procedures.
• Recognize and escalate supplier-related risks, communicate issues, and facilitate resolution activities.
• Track supplier performance metrics, including delivery times, quality concerns, and deviation notifications.
• Apply root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive measures, and Supplier Improvement Plans.
• Formulate supply risk mitigation strategies utilizing procurement risk assessments and partner insights.
• Deliver progress reports to Project Managers, Program Directors, and SPE leadership.
• Conduct technical assessments of supplier manufacturing capabilities, capacity, process controls, regulatory compliance, and associated risks.
• Develop and implement supplier Development Plans to bridge capability gaps.
• Spearhead supplier development and qualification initiatives, improvement projects, and cost-reduction strategies.
• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical/Automation Engineering or a related field.
• Over 4 years of progressive experience in Engineering/Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with machining, welding, forming, molding, mechanical assembly, testing, and inspection processes.
• Knowledge of Instrumentation & Control Systems, including electromechanical components, printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, harnesses, electrical cabinets, and sensors.
• Experience in problem-solving activities and process standardization projects.
• Working knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Plans.
• Experience in Supplier Evaluation/Qualification processes.
• Project Management experience with the ability to lead multiple concurrent projects.
• Familiarity with IPC, IEEE, and ASME standards, norms, codes, technical specifications, and drawings.
• IPC or NDT certifications are valued.
• Preferred certifications include Welding (AWS) or NDT.
• Experience with nuclear products and standards is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 30% both domestically and internationally.
• Must comply with applicable United States and relevant-country export-control regulations.
