Senior Sub Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Edit content for various Homes brands, mainly using InDesign layouts and Google Docs.

• Adhere to house style guidelines while ensuring the precision and suitability of editorial content.

• Provide high-quality and high-volume sub-editing services within tight deadlines.

• Act as a substitute for the Chief Sub Editor and Production Editors when needed.

• Possibly edit pages for other Future print brands.

• Collaborate within the sub-editing and production team for Homes brands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in sub-editing and production.

• Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Google Suite.

• Familiarity with CMS systems.

• Knowledge of or passion for home interiors.

• Strong sub-editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Eagerness to become a vital part of the Homes team.

• Capability to meet demanding deadlines.

• Ability to maintain high standards of quality and quantity in sub-editing.
