Senior Structural Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct structural design initiatives for data centers, industrial, and advanced manufacturing projects.

• Conduct structural analysis and design for steel, reinforced concrete, and foundation systems.

• Collaborate closely with architectural, civil, MEP, process, and vendor teams to address design and coordination challenges.

• Review and assist in the preparation of structural calculations, specifications, drawings, and construction documentation.

• Support QA/QC evaluations and provide assistance during construction with submittals, RFIs, field inquiries, and related matters.

• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate technical efforts across various disciplines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

• An active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

• At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering.

• Project experience should encompass data centers, industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or similar technically intricate projects.

• Proficiency in structural analysis software, design tools, and BIM coordination processes.

• Solid understanding of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and AISC standards.

• Applicants must have work authorization in the country where the job is based.

• A Structural Engineer (SE) license and/or a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Experience with hyperscale data centers, seismic design, or design-build projects is advantageous.

• Experience in mass timber design is a plus.
