Senior Structural Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Independently create comprehensive architectural and structural drawing sets for residential projects.

• Draft foundations, floor framing, roof framing, as well as sections and structural details.

• Execute and interpret engineering markups, notes, and design intentions.

• Assess drawings for precision, feasibility, and adherence to standards.

• Manage complex revisions and resolve drafting discrepancies.

• Work independently with minimal oversight once assignments are provided.

• Actively identify drafting or constructability challenges prior to production.

• Ensure compliance with company drafting standards and templates.

• Offer informal mentorship and technical support to junior drafters.

• Collaborate with engineers to enhance drawing standards throughout the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of specialized experience in residential drafting.

• Advanced skills in AutoCAD.

• Experience with Revit is highly advantageous.

• Profound knowledge of wood-framed residential construction.

• Familiarity with CMU, ICF, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and US residential codes is a plus.

• Strong capability to read and implement redlines, detailing, and material specifications.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong time-management abilities.
