• Acquire a profound understanding of one or more of Zillow’s business sectors, key performance indicators, and opportunities for cross-functional enhancements.
• Become a recognized subject matter expert.
• Spearhead our annual operating plan, encompassing goal setting, performance management, and executive-level monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Establish and uphold essential business metrics (inputs/outputs) while creating advanced forecasting models to project outcomes and assess discrepancies from the plan.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholder initiatives from ideation through execution, ensuring alignment among Product, Sales, and Finance to achieve critical business objectives.
• Function as an internal consultant to business leaders, offering structured frameworks to resolve ambiguous challenges and facilitating data-driven decisions at the executive level.
• Proactively generate insights and recommendations to enhance performance.
• Effectively present findings and alternatives to an executive audience to influence decision-making.
• Analyze business, operational, or customer data to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and data science teams to develop advanced analytics and real-time performance dashboards.
• Drive essential business operations to meet the needs of our cross-functional partners.
• Maintain awareness of competitor and industry trends.
• Over 7 years of work experience, including at least 2 years at a prestigious management consulting firm.
• Background in Strategy, Planning, or Go-To-Market in a Technology, Software, or SaaS environment.
• Proficient in SQL and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) for managing large-scale data.
• Proven expertise in quantitative business analysis and forecasting.
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving abilities, with a talent for breaking down complex issues and synthesizing data into clear insights.
• Experience in driving performance metrics, annual planning processes, and leading executive-level business reviews.
• Excellent communicator, skilled at presenting intricate financial and business data and insights to C-level executives.
• Highly collaborative, thriving in fast-paced environments while working with stakeholders from various functions (product, engineering, marketing, sales, finance, analytics, etc.).
• Equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance, and location.
