Financial Cash Control Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist in the weekly operations of Accounts Receivable.

• Prepare checkwrites for submission to the DHCS and the State Controller’s Office.

• Conduct research, analysis, and resolution of intricate accounts receivable and financial matters.

• Address escalated inquiries involving Gainwell, DHCS, providers, or other key stakeholders.

• Review and validate transactions related to accounts receivable and activities within the AR Master File.

• Execute quality control measures to guarantee accuracy, balancing, and the successful completion of system-generated processes.

• Handle and facilitate high-volume accounts receivable transactions for Medi-Cal programs.

• Produce management and payment reports.

• Organize quality assurance review initiatives.

• Offer procedural guidance, onboarding, training, and workflow support.

• Assist with complex financial transactions and issues.

• Collaborate with DHCS, Gainwell teams, vendors, and other stakeholders through meetings, directives, procedural updates, system alterations, testing, and operational initiatives.

• Manage numerous priorities and deadlines while ensuring compliance with requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, financial operations, payment processing, cash control, healthcare financial operations, or a closely related financial function.

• Demonstrated experience in researching, analyzing, and resolving complex issues related to accounts receivable, payments, or financial transactions.

• Experience in a high-volume financial or transaction processing environment with established accuracy, quality, and deadline standards.

• Background in providing daily guidance, training, workflow support, or subject matter expertise to colleagues.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficient data entry and 10-key skills.

• Familiarity with financial, business processing, or similar information systems.

• Candidates must be residents of California.

• Capability to adhere to Medi-Cal, financial, security, and organizational standards.
