Senior Strategic Medicare Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional teams in discovering product opportunities in innovative and complex emerging markets.

• Facilitate the development, implementation, and continuous management of Medicare Advantage product strategies.

• Oversee the product development process from initial concept to launch for new offerings.

• Drive initiatives for market expansion and assist in the introduction of new Medicare products.

• Define new products and provide leadership with proformas, financial analysis, competitive intelligence, market evaluations, and internal capability assessments for go/no-go decisions and strategic investments.

• Propel distinctive product design utilizing member engagement insights, clinical data, and competitive intelligence.

• Collaborate with market, finance, actuarial, digital experience, and other cross-functional partners.

• Create multi-year product roadmaps and establish performance benchmarks.

• Act as a product lead for digital transformation initiatives.

• Support strategies for health equity.

• Foster key vendor relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Administration with 6 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or strategic consulting, OR 11 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or strategic consulting.

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring other staff members.

• Background in managed care product development, benefits consulting, or project management.

• Experience interacting and communicating with corporate leadership at all organizational levels.

• Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and handle a heavy workload.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Excel is required.
