This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve targets for bookings, timely renewals, net revenue retention, and multi-suite growth by developing and implementing sales strategies within a designated territory of accounts.
• Create and update quarterly territory plans that align with whitespace, executive personas, funded initiatives, service attachments, adoption gaps, and future strategies by buying persona.
• Develop and advance pipeline through targeted plays, executive outreach, and multi-threaded engagement involving Superintendent, CIO, CFO, CHRO, CAO, and Procurement personas.
• Manage deals from initial discovery to closure, including developing RFP strategies, pricing and terms negotiations, securing commercial approvals, handling legal negotiations, and controlling procurement timelines.
• Ensure forecast precision and adhere to CRM standards, which include maintaining contacts, activities, next steps, and stage transitions in accordance with PowerSchool’s standard deal methodology.
• Coordinate with Solution Consulting, Services, Customer Success, and Partners to enhance value realization, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and facilitate renewal preparedness.
• Collect and communicate market insights and customer feedback to product, pricing, and go-to-market teams for enhancement of offer structures, sales strategies, or product, pricing, and marketing guidance.
• Travel frequently, including multi-state trips, to support key deals, on-site demonstrations, and executive workshops.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships, understand customer requirements, create tailored solutions, and maintain regular communication to foster customer loyalty.
• Proven track record of achieving bookings and revenue retention objectives, including multi-suite growth across assigned accounts.
• Experience managing sales cycles of 6 to 9 months focusing on cross-selling, coordinating overlay teams through public-sector procurement across various buying personas; capable of converting a champion in one persona into wins with others.
• Demonstrated discipline in pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce, ensuring readiness for weekly reviews.
• Skilled in modern deal methodologies and mutual close plans, such as MEDDPICC, with all components documented and kept current in CRM to facilitate stage transitions.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, preferably in CRM, ERP, Analytics, or EdTech sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in K–12 or public-sector contexts, including knowledge of funding cycles, board approvals, RFP processes, and utilization of co-ops or state purchasing vehicles.
• Established references from K–12 district leaders or directors who can attest to integrity, reliability, collaborative problem-solving, and joint value creation.
• Ability to cultivate executive relationships across Superintendent, CIO, CHRO, Curriculum, Finance, and Procurement, with proven whitespace planning that scales across a large account portfolio.
• Willingness to travel regularly (50–60%), including multi-state trips.
