This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee designated accounts while formulating and implementing a strategic growth plan throughout the territory.
• Develop and sustain a pipeline of targeted accounts, emphasizing the conversion of opportunities into sustainable revenue growth.
• Cultivate relationships with enterprise end users, contractors, consultants, distributors, and system integrators.
• Identify, assess, and pursue new business prospects within the enterprise structured cabling sector.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, encompassing prospecting, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing processes.
• Establish and nurture relationships with essential decision-makers across technical, procurement, and executive leadership levels.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and supply chain teams to provide customer-centric solutions.
• Utilize market intelligence and customer insights to shape commercial strategies and pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Represent Molex at customer engagements, industry events, and trade associations.
• Conduct regular business reviews and account planning sessions to ensure ongoing growth and customer satisfaction.
• Proven experience in selling copper and fiber structured cabling, connectivity, network infrastructure, or similar enterprise technology solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to expand strategic accounts and develop new customer relationships.
• Proven track record of establishing relationships and generating business with enterprise clients, contractors, consultants, distributors, and system integrators.
• Experience in managing sales pipelines, territory plans, and account growth strategies.
• Capability to articulate technical and commercial value propositions to a wide range of audiences.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
• Existing connections and active involvement in the enterprise structured cabling sector.
• Proven success in converting industry relationships into new business opportunities.
• Experience working for a manufacturer or distributor catering to the enterprise connectivity market.
• Enterprise sales experience related to data center, structured cabling, or network infrastructure solutions.
• Strong grasp of channel and distribution sales models.
• Established network of customers, consultants, contractors, and industry influencers.
• RCDD certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
