This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of a specific strategic territory and achieve an annual quota by focusing on both new logo acquisition and account growth.
• Develop, oversee, and implement a strong pipeline of intricate strategic transactions from initial prospecting to closure.
• Engage with large strategic organizations, interacting with C-level and VP-level decision-makers while managing structured, value-driven sales cycles.
• Create persuasive business cases that link Cohesity’s AI-powered data security platform to customer results in areas such as security, resilience, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate closely with sales engineers, channel partners, and internal teams to implement coordinated account strategies.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management within Salesforce.
• Utilize AI and productivity tools to enhance workflows, elevate deal quality, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Proven experience in selling to and collaborating with Information Security / Cybersecurity teams.
• Significant success in a quota-bearing, customer-facing strategic sales position involving complex technology solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in selling to strategic accounts with multiple stakeholders and complex sales processes.
• Understanding of data security architectures, ransomware resilience, and the competitive environment.
• Familiarity with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles) is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in NetBackup, Backup Exec, and InfoScale, including immutable storage, hardened media servers, ACL-based controls, and encryption.
• Strong history of negotiating and finalizing high-value strategic contracts.
• Executive-level communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for effectively conveying technical and business value.
• Experience collaborating with channel partners and cross-functional deal teams.
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the designated territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
