Senior Stock Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily management of Discord's global equity plans, which includes participant eligibility, enrollment, award processing, exercises, settlements, tax withholding, mobility reporting, expirations, cancellations, repurchases, and terminations.

• Validate, process, and reconcile equity transactions across equity administration platforms, payroll, and the general ledger.

• Collaborate with Legal, HR, Payroll, Tax, and Finance teams to manage global equity programs, ensuring precise record-keeping, withholding, reporting, and reconciliation.

• Maintain data on participant mobility by tracking work locations and mobility history, reconciling records with payroll and HRIS systems.

• Assist employees, management, and stakeholders with inquiries about equity plans; create and deliver educational sessions and communications.

• Organize the quarterly stock administration calendar and prepare year-end tax information for IRC 6039 reporting.

• Ensure compliance with SOX through documentation, testing, audit support, and manage equity compensation in accordance with plan terms.

• Collaborate with external auditors and third-party vendors.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Stock Administration.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in stock plan administration, with a background in both private and public companies.

• Familiarity with global equity plans and management of an equity administration system.

• A strong enthusiasm for equity and a commitment to helping employees comprehend their equity compensation.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

• Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation is a plus.

• Experience with Carta is advantageous.
