Senior Statistician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and develop protocols, which encompass study design, sample size estimation, randomization, and statistical analysis plans for designated studies.

• Offer statistical oversight and guarantee quality and consistency with project specifications.

• Ensure that statistical analysis data are complete, accurate, and consistent.

• Provide precise and timely statistical contributions to reports and decision-making processes.

• Validate analyses and investigate alternative analysis strategies as necessary.

• Utilize statistical concepts and methodologies; identify and rectify any flaws in scientific reasoning and statistical interpretation.

• Maintain the accuracy and consistency of statistical tables, figures, data listings, report text, and summary tables.

• Draft the statistical methods sections of reports and ensure compliance with reporting guidelines and project-wide consistency.

• Guide peers in statistical methodologies and provide training for less experienced statisticians.

• Organize statisticians’ tasks and evaluate their work to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related discipline.

• Doctorate with 3-4 years of experience or Master’s with 5-7 years of experience.

• Experience in Oncology, Rare Disease, or Neuroscience is a plus.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both internal teams and clients.

• Proven understanding and insight in statistics, the drug development process, and pertinent FDA regulations.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, CRO, or a related field with clinical trials.

• Familiarity with interactions with Regulatory Agencies, particularly the FDA.
