This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Create tailored programming code utilizing SAS or other software to produce summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets in accordance with statistical analysis plans and programming specifications.
• Ensure that outputs adhere to quality standards and fulfill project requirements.
• Execute validation programming and address discrepancies in collaboration with Programmers, Biostatisticians, and project team members.
• Maintain comprehensive, organized, and up-to-date project documentation, including testing, verification, quality control documents, and programs.
• Oversee timelines and priorities across various projects.
• Develop specifications for datasets and outputs with varying levels of complexity.
• Organize and lead internal meetings, disseminate information and minutes, and monitor action items.
• Negotiate time estimates and complete study programming tasks within designated timelines.
• Serve as the lead statistical programmer, oversee other programming staff, and track programming deliverables.
• Review Statistical Analysis Plans, mock shells, programming specifications, annotated CRFs, and SAS database designs.
• Represent statistical programming in sponsor, kickoff, and bid defense meetings.
• Mentor programming staff through training, work reviews, constructive feedback, and guidance.
• Transfer deliverables and carry out other assigned work-related responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in a scientific or statistical field; a combination of education and demonstrated programming experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Significant programming experience in SAS or other necessary software, preferably within a clinical trial setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Capability to adhere to applicable SOPs, WIs, and relevant regulatory guidelines such as ICH.
