Senior Staff Product Manager, Browser Control Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the shared foundation and the essential components it provides to other software, ensuring they are both reliable and secure.

• Advance the open standard (WebDriver BiDi) and develop unique advantages for Firefox that the standard may not encompass.

• Create safety controls that allow users to approve actions, be aware when software is acting on their behalf, and regain control when needed.

• Establish the strategy for significant third-party AI assistants that are already in use by individuals.

• Provide a unified layer to support internal teams and external tools.

• Promote adoption across teams and tools, enhance platform utilization, and maintain consistent reliability and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A product-focused engineer or a highly technical PM capable of steering a technical product.

• Experience in the developer space, with the ability to consider both consumer needs and internal platforms.

• Comfortable formulating strategy in uncertain situations; responsible for a technical contract that other teams rely on.

• Strong intuition regarding security and trust issues.

• Preferred: knowledge of web standards, MCP, and browser automation.
