Senior Staff Product Manager, Browser Control Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the shared infrastructure and the foundational elements it provides to other software, ensuring they are both reliable and secure.

• Advance the open standard (WebDriver BiDi) and create unique advantages for Firefox that the standard does not encompass.

• Design safety mechanisms that allow users to authorize actions, monitor when software operates on their behalf, and regain control when needed.

• Establish the strategy for integrating major third-party AI assistants that users are already utilizing.

• Support internal teams (Smart Window, New Products) and external tools through a unified layer.

• Promote adoption across various teams and tools, enhancing platform utilization, reliability, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A product-oriented engineer, or a highly technical PM capable of driving a technical product.

• Experience in the developer space, with the ability to consider both consumer needs and internal platforms.

• Ability to set strategies amidst uncertainty; take ownership of a technical contract that other teams rely on.

• Strong instincts regarding security and trustworthiness.

• Nice to have: familiarity with web standards, MCP, and browser automation.
