Senior Staff Engineer, Gen AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy autonomous AI agents capable of multi-step reasoning, planning, and decision-making.

• Construct and manage agent workflows utilizing LangChain, LangGraph, and contemporary agent frameworks.

• Integrate AI agents with APIs, databases, and SaaS platforms to facilitate end-to-end task execution.

• Formulate prompt engineering strategies, memory architectures, and tool-use functionalities.

• Create production-ready backend services and APIs using Python and Java.

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain AI agents with a focus on scalability, reliability, and observability.

• Enhance AI agent performance concerning latency, cost, and reliability.

• Debug, assess, and continually refine agent behavior through testing, logging, and feedback loops.

• Implement cloud-native deployment, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support capabilities.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to integrate AI agents into business workflows.

• Assess emerging LLM technologies, agent frameworks, and best practices in applied AI.

• Offer technical guidance on AI agent architecture, integration, and production implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A total of 7.5+ years of experience.

• Proficient experience in Python and Java development, coding, and backend engineering.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure AI/ML and cloud-based AI solutions.

• Experience in building and deploying AI agents for production settings.

• Significant experience with LLM application frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalents.

• Familiarity with API development, integration, databases, and external SaaS platforms.

• Experience in prompt engineering, agent orchestration, memory architectures, and tool-use capabilities.

• Knowledge of scalable system design, distributed systems, and asynchronous processing.

• Experience with CI/CD, containers, cloud-native deployment, and production monitoring.

• Understanding of observability, logging, debugging, and AI agent evaluation frameworks.

• Strong grasp of LLM providers and modern AI developer tools.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
