Senior Staff Engineer, ERP Oracle Technical Consultant – Oracle Apex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Examine business and functional requirements, converting them into effective technical solutions.

• Customize and develop Oracle ERP applications in alignment with project specifications and business demands.

• Create and sustain technical objects, interfaces, reports, conversions, extensions, and workflows.

• Design and implement integrations between Oracle ERP and external systems.

• Utilize Oracle APIs, web services, database objects, and integration frameworks.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SQL/PLSQL programs, queries, procedures, packages, and functions.

• Diagnose technical issues, perform root-cause assessments, and execute suitable solutions.

• Assist with System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and production activities.

• Draft technical design documents, development specifications, and other relevant technical documentation.

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business teams to comprehend requirements and deliver impactful technical solutions.

• Recognize opportunities for performance enhancement, technical optimization, and the advancement of Oracle ERP applications.

• Employ suitable Oracle technologies, frameworks, APIs, and development best practices to provide scalable and maintainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of overall experience.

• Extensive experience in Oracle ERP Technical development.

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Familiarity with Oracle ERP integrations and interfaces.

• Understanding of Oracle reports, workflows, APIs, and technical customizations.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.

• Solid grasp of the ERP implementation and support lifecycle.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is preferred.

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services.

• Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is an advantage.

• Exposure to BI Publisher/OTBI is a plus.

• Experience in Agile development environments is a significant advantage.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
