Senior Staff Engineer, ERP Oracle CPQ Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee complete Oracle CPQ Cloud integrations and implementations, encompassing configuration, commerce workflows, pricing, approvals, and document generation.

• Convert business and functional requirements into scalable and high-quality technical solutions for Oracle CPQ.

• Adjust and personalize Oracle CPQ modules in accordance with business and enterprise specifications.

• Create, enhance, and troubleshoot BML scripts, BMQL queries, and XSLT-based document templates.

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Oracle CPQ and CRM/ERP platforms, including Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, SAP, and other enterprise applications.

• Architect and execute integrations utilizing REST/SOAP APIs and middleware-based integration solutions.

• Facilitate client workshops to comprehend business processes, gather requirements, and delineate technical solutions.

• Prepare and deliver solution designs, technical strategies, and integration architectures to both business and technical stakeholders.

• Assist with unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-production support.

• Ensure compliance with version control, DevOps, release management, and enterprise development best practices.

• Diagnose complex functional and technical issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Confirm that Oracle CPQ solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture, business rules, security requirements, and integration standards.

• Mentor and direct junior consultants, providing technical guidance across implementation teams.

• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives, reusable assets, technical documentation, and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional, distributed, and global teams to guarantee the successful delivery of Oracle CPQ solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A total of 8+ years of experience.

• Extensive experience in enterprise application consulting with practical knowledge of Oracle CPQ Cloud.

• Strong expertise in BML, BMQL, XSLT, and Oracle CPQ configuration modules.

• In-depth understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes, pricing models, commerce flows, and approval workflows.

• Demonstrated experience in Oracle CPQ integrations with CRM/ERP platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, SAP, etc.

• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and middleware-based integration patterns.

• Experience with Oracle CPQ configuration, commerce processes, pricing logic, document generation, and customizations.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize BML scripts, BMQL queries, and XSLT-based document templates.

• Experience in supporting unit testing, UAT, production deployments, and release management.

• Familiarity with version control, DevOps practices, and enterprise application deployment processes.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, analytical, and client-facing skills.

• Capability to conduct workshops and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

• Ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional and global teams.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Oracle CPQ certification is a plus.
