• Provide technical guidance on projects that have a significant impact.

• Influence and mentor a geographically dispersed team of engineers.

• Implement enhancements that promote cost efficiency within the cloud platform.

• Ensure alignment and clarity among teams regarding goals, outcomes, and timelines.

• Oversee project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

• Play a role in the long-term strategy to advance the client's Cloud Platform.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance the compute platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Seeking candidates with experience in cloud-native, DevOps, or infrastructure-centered companies such as Datadog, Cloudflare, Core Weave, Digital Ocean, Cloudera, CircleCI, Elastic, Dynatrace, or similar organizations where Kubernetes is utilized at scale in production settings.

• Not considering candidates whose Kubernetes experience is restricted to UI tools, basic cluster operations, or non-engineering roles.

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 12 years of relevant experience in infrastructure.

• More than 4 years of experience with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and its infrastructure as a service offerings (e.g., EC2).

• Proven experience in setting technical direction, planning, and successfully executing large-scale projects across multiple teams.

• Kubernetes experience is mandatory.

• Experience with Istio/Envoy is preferred.
