This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Comprehend clients’ business use cases and technical needs, translating them into technical designs.
• Align decisions with requirements and convey these to developers.
• Explore various solutions and refine them to find the optimal choice for client specifications.
• Establish guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements throughout project execution.
• Draft and evaluate design documents detailing application architecture, frameworks, and high-level designs.
• Assess architecture and design for aspects such as extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and non-functional requirements.
• Formulate and design comprehensive solutions addressing both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Specify technologies, patterns, and frameworks necessary to implement solutions.
• Grasp technology integration scenarios and apply insights gained to projects.
• Troubleshoot code and review issues using systematic root-cause analysis and provide rationales for decisions made.
• Conduct proofs of concept to validate proposed designs and technologies.
• Architect and implement scalable GenAI and Agentic AI solutions from start to finish.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transform business needs into AI-driven solutions.
• Minimum of 8 years of overall experience.
• In-depth knowledge of LLMs and Transformer architectures, including GPTs, Llama, Claude, Gemini, Qwen, Mistral, and BERT-family models.
• Advanced prompt engineering capabilities and proven experience in implementing RAG patterns.
• High level of proficiency in Python and standard AI/ML libraries, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, LangSmith, Hugging Face Transformers, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Strong background in implementing RAG architectures and prompt engineering practices.
• Extensive experience with fine-tuning, distillation techniques, and evaluation processes.
• Solid experience utilizing managed AI/ML services like Azure Machine Learning Studio and AI Foundry.
• Strong understanding of vector databases such as Weaviate and Neo4j.
• Familiarity with GenAI evaluation metrics including BLEU, ROUGE, perplexity, semantic similarity, and human evaluation.
• Capability to write high-quality, production-ready Python code with robust testing and maintainability standards.
• Proficient in productionizing AI systems on Azure or AWS.
• Skilled in building and exposing APIs using FastAPI and integrating with databases via an ORM.
• Ability to scale GenAI solutions for enterprise workloads effectively.
• Strong aptitude for architecting and coding GenAI/Agentic AI solutions.
• Demonstrated production experience with GenAI deployments on Azure or AWS.
• Significant experience in scaling AI solutions in live environments.
• Excellent Python programming skills, with a history of producing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Successfully delivered at least one production GenAI/Agentic AI solution.
• Proficiency in FastAPI and at least one ORM, like SQLAlchemy or Tortoise ORM.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Contributions to open-source GenAI projects are a plus.
• Experience with React or another JavaScript framework is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
